The peter pan of pop Michael Jackson , at the age 50, passed away ,on friday ,June 26, 2009.
The reason of his demise is said to be cardiac arrest ,which is yet to be confirmed, and the real reasons will be declared only after a detailed autopsy which might take 6-8 weeks.
At the height of his career , Michael Jackson was undisputably the biggest star in the world , selling over 500 million albums. Though during the recent years he was said to have stacked his debt upto $500 million also.
Jacko's career hit its peak with the release of the highly succesful album 'Thriller'(1982), which incidentally the highest selling album of all time.
Radio stations across the US reacted to his death with marathon sessions of his songs.
MTV which grew successful in part as a result of his groundbreaking videos reprised its early days as a music channel by showing his biggest hits.
